Pronunciation is definitely the biggest thing that people notice when you are speaking English. Do you think people will notice your poor vocabulary or bad grammar? I believe not. But they will notice if your pronunciation is good or bad. If your pronunciation is poor, they will immediately think that you’re bad in English. Our pronunciation creates the first impression that we make.
Correct pronunciation should be one of the first things that we learn in English. We can use basic words or simple grammar structures instead. But there is no such thing as 'simple pronunciation'. If you don't have good pronunciation means you have bad pronunciation. The results of bad pronunciation are tragic. People may not understand what you want to say or worst...making fun of you.
So try out this tongue twister!
Betty Botter bought a bit of butter
The butter Betty Botter bought was a bit bitter
And made her batter bitter.
